A few weeks ago, Solid Cactus introduced the latest version of Solid Cactus eCommerce – a shopping cart platform for online stores. When it came time to get the word out to our base about the new cart, we decided to do an email blast that directed people to a landing page with more information and a funny little video to go along with it. We tossed a few ideas around for video content and came up with a theme that rings true.

Over the years, I really was asked over and over again, “when are you going to get your own shopping cart?” Since our early beginnings we developed on the Yahoo! Store platform but since being acquired by web.com, we now had the resources to develop and market our own eCommerce shopping cart. So finally the question could be answered!

Donna Talarico, Greg Davis and myself set our sights on some fun places to shoot some video. Not all were used in the final version of the video but we hit the men’s room, the gym, the supermarket and a cafe. Along the way there were some bloopers and like always, there here for you to laugh along with us. I’ve also posted the final version of the video as well.

Today I had to record a series of videos for an email campaign we’re doing for Solid Cactus Call Center. While I’m usually quick to bang these things out, today was an exception…. but we had some fun! Screwing up along with me is Katrina Domkowski and Becky Pokorny who were good sports as well. Enjoy!
